External ontologies

From BOWiki

BOWiki provides access to several biomedical ontologies, for fast browsing the existent knowledge and referencing within local articles. The following ontologies are included:

The external ontologies available in the BOWiki can be accessed via Special Pages. This leaves the content of the external concepts untouchable, while they can be edited as local concepts via buttons located at the bottom of the page. An example of how to use an external concept as a reference from another concept within the wiki text is the following:

ExternalOntology/adult_mouse_anatomy.obo:Adult_mouse

This information will provide a typed link to the term Adult Mouse, as it is described by the Adult Mouse Anatomy Ontology.
